I downloaded the setup file myself so you can see which buttons to click and how to fill in the form boxes. I also took screenshots and added pictures to each step to give you a visual walkthrough. If you look at the pictures, you can easily see the steps you need to take. Just enter your own information instead of the information I added.
To download Adobe Audition, open the official website here first. If you are a US web user, the interface opens directly. If you are outside the US, complete the small country check that appears on your screen first. Click the button for the country where you live. When the window fully opens, you will see two options. One takes you to the free trial download page. The other opens the purchase page. Choose the option that fits your goal. At this stage, I will explain step by step how to download a setup file by clicking the free download link. The new download screen gives us two options. They are Audition and Creative Cloud Pro. With Audition selected, click Continue to go to the second download window. Before you do this, you need to check the text box that says Adobe will charge your credit card monthly or yearly, based on your choice, after the 7 day trial ends.

In the second step, Adobe asks you to add an email account. Enter the email you use.

In the third step, the form boxes for your credit card information open. Fill in every box with the correct information. If you already have an account and you opened it and signed in, click the OK button in the last step and wait for the setup file to download. If you do not have an account, clicking OK takes you to the sign up window. Everyone knows the sign up steps. Fill in the boxes and sign up. That is all. When you finish signing up, Adobe sends a verification link. When you click this link in your email, your account is complete and the setup file starts downloading. Remember, this is only a trial version. You cannot use the program after 7 days. You continue by paying monthly or yearly from your card, whichever you chose.
If you do not want to buy the program, you can delete it from your computer. You do not need to worry because you entered your card information. Adobe does not automatically charge any payment. You will see an information window about continuing with the full installation. If you pay, you keep using the program as the full version. If you do not pay, the program closes when you close the warning window. That means you cannot use the program for free for more than 7 days.
