The custom short, spiky cut we created for fine hair.
I put together this article to break down how we got Marina’s short, spiky haircut, including all its specifics and what you might expect to pay. I should be upfront—we actually designed three unique short cuts for her. She has fine hair and was never quite happy with the short styles she’d tried before. Frankly, we were thrilled to suggest this look; it completely transformed her style.
We started by taking off the bulk of the length on top. To get that vertical lift, we left about six inches up there, but we went really short on the sides and back—almost a fade. The final result is this cool, spiky cut that stands up and just sweeps back. To finish, we colored it a beautiful bronde, which is a perfect mix of brown and blonde.
