Every Wednesday I decide to make small but exciting changes in my life. Today I look in the mirror and realize I am ready for a transformation. My long hair feels too familiar too ordinary. So I am heading to Sally Hershberger one of the most renowned hair salons in Los Angeles. After a short walk I arrive and am welcomed warmly. Hershberger herself recognizes me right away and guides me to a comfortable armchair.
Hello Sandra what are we doing today? she asks smiling. I take a deep breath and respond confidently I want a pixie cut. She nods approvingly assuring me it’s a fantastic choice. A pixie cut will enhance your facial features and give you a modern energetic look she says. Even though I feel a bit nervous about parting with my long hair I am determined.
I gather my thoughts and ask her Do you think this style will really suit me? She replies with certainty Absolutely! Your bone structure is perfect for it. Plus you’ll love how it keeps you cool in the summer heat. Her reassuring smile makes me feel at ease. Let’s go for it I say excitedly.
As she begins cutting my hair I feel each strand falling lightening me. Hershberger’s skill is evident in every movement. After an hour my hair is styled into an elegant pixie cut. Her assistant holds up a mirror and I look at my reflection. Here’s the new Sandra she says proudly.
When I see my new look I can’t help but smile. Amazing! I exclaim I feel completely renewed! My short hairstyle gives me a rush of energy and I am thrilled to step out and show it off. Now I know that a whole new style awaits me every day.
Hershberger is pleased with my transformation. This pixie cut makes you look like a whole new person Sandra. It’s refreshing. I thank her and leave the salon with newfound confidence and empowerment.
