• Crop (Alt+C) – Lets you draw a rectangle to crop the image to only what you’d like to see.
• Move (Alt+V) – Allows you to pick up and move an image.
• Brush (Alt+B) – Paints with your selected color over any part of the image. Click the little triangle in the corner to select the Pencil tool – same idea but with a much finer tip for detail work.
• Line (Alt+U) – Draws straight lines. Expand the tool for the Curve tool which allows you to bend lines by clicking on points of a path.
• Rectangle (Alt+R) – Draws a colored rectangle in your current color selection. Expand it for more options:
  • Ellipse (Alt+L) – Draws circles and ovals.

• The Color Boxes – At the bottom of the toolbar there are 2 colored boxes. The top color is your active foreground color-the color you are going to paint, draw, and/or fill with. The bottom box is your secondary color-you can flip these two around by pressing on the little arrow in between them.
• Mask Tool – This is arguably the most advanced feature in the IcoFX toolbar. Draw a shape over any part of your image, and edits will be made to only the selected mask. If you are interested in doing something like editing only someone’s eyes in a picture and replacing the color without disturbing any other part of the photo, this would be your go-to tool.

The Right Panel

The Right Panel is context-sensitive and minimalist. Depending on what tool is selected on the left panel of IcoFX, the Right Panel displays only what is needed for that specific tool. If you select the text tool then only font size and alignment options are displayed. The same goes for the other tool types-the right panel will only provide options relevant to what tool is currently being used, which helps with the clutter.

The Bottom Line

The IcoFX won’t win any awards for flashy design, but what it can do, it does extremely well. If you’re just looking to convert your existing images into icon format quickly and easily, or sit down and create custom icons from scratch then IcoFX will get the job done and won’t make you sweat while doing it. IcoFX offers a fairly generous 30 day free trial which gives you enough time to figure out if the 32 dollar per year cost of the program is worth it, and I’m going to go on a limb and say for anyone doing icon-based work on a semi-regular basis, that it is worth it.

Is your hardware ready for Windows 11? As you probably know, Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. Since then, millions of users have been asking themselves whether their computer can actually run Windows 11 and looking for a straight answer. In this article, we’re going to give you just that.

On this page we’re going to walk you through Windows 11’s minimum system requirements, compatibility check tools and what you can do if your hardware is on the older side.

Minimum System Requirements for Windows 11

Microsoft set some pretty specific hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your computer needs to meet the following specs:

• Processor: 1 GHz or faster, 64-bit compatible, with at least 2 cores.
• RAM: At least 4 GB.
• Storage: At least 64 GB of free disk space.
• TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0.
• Secure Boot: A UEFI-compatible motherboard.
• DirectX: A graphics card that supports DirectX 12 or higher.
• Display: At least 720p resolution, 9 inches or larger.
• Internet connection: Required during setup for a Microsoft account.

The TPM 2.0 requirement.

Without a doubt the most controversial and frustrating requirement for longtime users is TPM 2.0. Because this new piece of hardware that gets thrown in the face of anyone trying to upgrade has essentially forced people whose computers don’t have it to go out and buy a new machine. Now TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is actually a dedicated security chip that either sits physically on the motherboard or is built right into the processor. And honestly it’s pretty necessary. Its job is to securely store encryption keys, passwords, digital certificates and biometric data like fingerprints. Completely isolated from the operating system and any software running on top of it. That’s a big deal and yeah, it should be there.

For example even if malware manages to sneak into your computer, it still can’t get to the data inside the TPM chip. On top of that TPM also monitors the boot process. It compares the system against its previously trusted state so it can detect if anything was tampered with or changed during startup. And that’s exactly why Windows 11 made this chip mandatory.

On top of all that security features like BitLocker disk encryption, Windows Hello biometric login and Secure Boot all rely directly on TPM 2.0 under the hood. The older standard TPM 1.2, was developed back in 2003 and doesn’t fully support today’s encryption algorithms. TPM 2.0 on the other hand, brings stronger algorithms, a more flexible architecture and way more comprehensive protection against modern cyber threats. Bottom line TPM 2.0 isn’t just some checkbox requirement for Windows 11. It’s the backbone of the whole system’s security architecture.

Here’s how to check whether you have TPM 2.0:

1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
2. Type tpm.msc and hit Enter.
3. In the window that opens, you can see your TPM version.

If you’re getting a “TPM not found” error, you may need to enable it from your BIOS/UEFI settings. On Intel systems this feature goes by “Intel PTT” and on AMD systems it’s called “AMD fTPM”.

So, how do you update your BIOS? (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte)

A lot of motherboard manufacturers (like ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, etc.) introduce TPM 2.0 support through BIOS updates that get added later on. So the first thing you need to do is follow the steps below based on your motherboard brand.

But before you do anything, you need to find out your motherboard model. To do that, type msinfo32 into the Windows search bar and hit Enter. Look at the window that opens. The Baseboard Product line in there will give you your motherboard model. After that, do the BIOS update according to whichever of the motherboards below is yours.

Step by Step …

1 – Format the USB drive as FAT32. To do that:

Find the USB in the window that opens when you click on the Computer icon and follow these steps: Right-click the USB → Format → File system: FAT32 → Start

Note: It’s not absolutely required that the USB be empty, but keeping it clean is safer. So just add the BIOS package you’ll be downloading — that’s enough.

2 – Download the BIOS File.

• Go to the support page of whichever one — ASUS, MSI or Gigabyte, is your motherboard.
• Search for your motherboard model.
• Click on the BIOS tab.
• Download the top one (the most recent version).
• On top of that, also download the EZ Flash tool for ASUS, M-Flash for MSI and Q-Flash for Gigabyte. Like I said… whichever motherboard is yours, you’re only downloading the file that belongs to that one!
• Open the downloaded .zip file and copy the file that comes out of it directly into the USB FLASH drive (not inside any other folder)

3 – Open the Flash Tool.

Restart your computer. On the startup screen:

• Press DEL to enter the BIOS.
• Inside the BIOS, press F8 → the Flash software you downloaded will open automatically.

4 – Run the Update.

When Flash opens, select the Update BIOS option. You should see the USB there — click on it, select the setup file inside it. Confirm it and wait for the process to finish. It can take around 5-10 minutes, so make sure you wait it out. Whatever you do, do NOT turn off the computer during this time and absolutely do not pull out the USB either!..

5 – Done.

Once the update is complete the system will restart automatically. Then go into the BIOS, set the AMD fTPM or Intel PTT option to Enabled and save with F10. That’s all there is to it.. If you have trouble getting through these steps, you can also check out related videos on YouTube.

After you finish the BIOS update, restart your system. Then go into your BIOS settings (usually by pressing DEL or F2 during startup) and find the Intel PTT option for Intel systems, or AMD fTPM for AMD systems, and set it to Enabled. After that, save and exit with F10. Finally, in Windows, press Windows + R, type tpm.msc, and see that TPM 2.0 is now recognized.

Which processors are supported for Windows 11?

Microsoft has limited Windows 11 installation to only certain processor generations and newer. When this decision was announced, it caused a huge controversy and directly affected millions of users in a bad way.

When it comes to Intel processors Microsoft officially supports only 8th generation Coffee Lake and later. What that means is that 7th gen Kaby Lake processors like the Intel Core i7-7700, i5-7600 or i3-7100 released in 2017 and still running perfectly fine are considered insufficient for Windows 11. And yet these processors are still more than capable for everyday use. Microsoft’s main justification for drawing the line at 8th gen is that those chips and beyond offer stronger security instructions, better virtualization support and a more TPM 2.0-friendly architecture.

On the AMD side the minimum supported threshold is the Ryzen 3000 series and above, based on Zen 2 architecture. There’s an important catch here. The Ryzen 2000 series is built on Zen+ architecture and Microsoft left it off the supported list. So a capable 2018-era chip like the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, powerful as it is doesn’t meet Windows 11’s official requirements. Part of the reason is the security improvements that came with Zen 2 and part of it is that AMD’s fTPM (firmware TPM) support became much more stable starting with Zen 2. Of course, most AMD users have no idea about any of this. But they weren’t the only ones left out. Qualcomm users got caught up in this mess too.

On the Qualcomm side Snapdragon 850 and above are supported. This category covers mostly thin and light laptops running ARM architecture. Qualcomm’s Windows 11 support has really moved into the spotlight especially with the Copilot+ PC concept. Newer chips like the Snapdragon X Elite can fully take advantage of Windows 11’s AI-powered features.

So why did Microsoft want this change in the first place?

According to the official statement the decision is entirely focused on reliability and security. Microsoft had claimed that supported processors experience a crash-free rate of 99.8% on Windows 11 and that older generations couldn’t meet that stability threshold. Critics didn’t find that reasoning convincing enough and argued there was a commercial motive in the background, essentially to drive hardware upgrade sales. That debate got even more heated when some researchers suggested these restrictions had more to do with marketing strategy than any actual technical necessity.

So if your computer has something like an Intel 7th gen or AMD Ryzen 2000 series processor, the official upgrade path is simply not available to you.

That’s it! After that, you can buy a compatible replacement part, swap it in and go ahead with the upgrade. This is the most cost-effective approach out there and I’d recommend it.

Other ways to check if your hardware is incompatible.

1. Update your BIOS

On some motherboards TPM 2.0 support can be added through a BIOS update.

If your computer physically has a TPM 2.0 chip but you’re still getting a “TPM not found” or “TPM 1.2” error during the Windows 11 compatibility check. Don’t panic. The first thing you should do is update your BIOS. Some motherboard manufacturers ship with TPM 2.0 disabled by default or an older BIOS version might mean the feature just isn’t active on your system yet. On Intel-based systems this shows up in the BIOS menu as Intel PTT (Platform Trust Technology) and on AMD-based systems it’s AMD fTPM (Firmware TPM). These options let the processor handle TPM 2.0 functionality in firmware, without needing a separate physical TPM chip.

To update your BIOS, you’ll first need to know your motherboard’s brand and model. You can find that easily with a free tool like CPU-Z or by running the msinfo32 command directly. Then head over to the official support pages for ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock or whatever brand you’ve got, search your motherboard’s model number and download the latest BIOS version.

After you’ve finished the BIOS update, restart your system. Then go back into BIOS settings and set Intel PTT or AMD fTPM to Enabled. After that run the tpm.msc tool in Windows again to verify that TPM 2.0 is now being recognized. Because these simple steps have allowed thousands of users to make the jump to Windows 11 without buying new hardware.

2. Enable Secure Boot

Go into your BIOS/UEFI settings and turn on the Secure Boot option. It’s usually found under the “Boot” or “Security” menu. I won’t go into detail on this one since it’s a pretty straightforward toggle to flip.

If you really do need a hardware upgrade, what should you look at first?

Hardware to check first:

If your system is incompatible and you’re thinking about upgrading, here’s the priority order:

1. RAM: If you’re under 4 GB bump it up to at least 8 GB. (Useless if your motherboard doesn’t support it.)
2. SSD: If you’re still running an HDD switch to an SSD. It’ll boost performance and make the installation process a lot smoother.
3. Motherboard + Processor: This is the last thing you should look at. But if you need TPM 2.0 support, this is what you’ll have to tackle.

If you’ve gone through the solutions above one by one, you’ll now have a pretty clear answer to the question, is your hardware ready for Windows 11? But if you ask me, you can keep going with your old hardware for a while longer. You don’t need to rush out and wipe your OS to install a new one. That said if you’re dead set on making the switch to Windows 11, the right move is to do it alongside new hardware. Not try to force it onto old gear. Keep that in mind. While I fully agree with Malavida’s raw numbers here’s what I personally observed after 50+ hours of gameplay: it’s not just about the quantity. The AI now distributes these players’ stats much more realistically. For example in DLS 24 a forward rated 80+ had artificially boosted finishing that didn’t match their real-life performance. In DLS 25, those stats are tightly aligned with actual player data, making team selection feel much more authentic and strategic.

The article also compares it to other titles like EA Sports FIFA and eFootball. According to them DLS is way more popular on mobile—and honestly I think it’s even beyond that. It’s the best soccer game I’ve ever seen on a phone but there’s one catch: this is a manager game. That means it’s not really in the same league as a pure simulation like EA Sports FIFA since those games don’t have management elements. That’s why I put DLS in its own category. I’d actually take Malavida’s “popularity” comment a step further. In my experience DLS 25’s massive appeal doesn’t just come from the gameplay itself—it’s the competitive online league ecosystem.

Competing against thousands of other managers who are all building their squads in real-time creates a layer of depth that no other mobile soccer game has managed to replicate. But one thing’s for sure—on mobile DLS is absolutely the best.

Another new feature Malavida points out is the overall fluidity of the game. I definitely think this stands out too. After playing it myself I have to say that DLS 24 and DLS 25 are like night and day. The game is incredibly smooth. But let me tell you why it feels smoother based on my hands-on testing: the ball physics engine has been completely rewritten. In DLS 24 the bounce trajectory of a pass was unpredictable which often led to frustrating turnovers. In DLS 25 the game calculates exactly whether the ball should stay low or lift into the air based on your pass power and the surface angle. This single change is a game-changer especially if you love fast counter-attacks.

If I had to highlight the upgrades I noticed: the timing of tackle battles the realism of passes and even shots and the goalkeepers’ reactions are way more predictable. On top of that, there’s a new skill-based progression system where your players genuinely improve as you gain experience with them. Honestly I’ve never seen anything this polished in previous DLS versions. However I do have one minor critique here that Malavida didn’t mention: close-range shots are still saved a bit too often by the keepers even when perfectly placed. I’m hoping the development team addresses this fine-tuning in the DLS 26 update. Malavida is totally spot-on for bringing up the core improvements and I agree with them 100%.

Instead of a traditional transfer budget like you see in similar games DLS uses Coins. This in-game currency is absolutely crucial for building up your team. You need it to sign star players and develop your youth academy. But coins don’t exactly rain down on you for free. To earn them, you’ll need to actively play matches and tournaments complete daily objectives and challenges watch ads or sell off players you don’t need by listing them on the transfer market. Now I know that using “unlimited coin” MOD APKs or online coin generators might seem tempting. But as you well know since the whole point of the game is to experience something close to real life resorting to those shortcuts ultimately kills the enjoyment.

And on that note I need to give you a hard trust warning: these MOD APKs don’t just ruin your fun—they are notorious for carrying malware that can compromise your device’s security. Worse, First Touch Games actively tracks these modifications and I’ve personally seen dozens of accounts permanently banned in the last month alone. So if you value your progress stay away. Playing patiently and strategically to build up your resources always makes that feeling of success so much more rewarding. And honestly I’m totally with Malavida on this one too.

This hidden stamina mechanic forces you to think tactically about when to press and when to drop back—a nuance that Uptodown’s brief overview doesn’t fully capture but that makes all the difference in online matches.

When you first start DLS 2025, it lets you build your own team from scratch. You pick your club’s name and logo, design your own coach and even sign a top-tier coach to lead your sporting project. After those first steps you find yourself competing in one of the lowest international divisions. Your ultimate goal is to climb the ranks and reach major national competitions as quickly as possible. Along the way going head-to-head with the best teams and making a name for yourself in prestigious tournaments becomes a huge part of the motivation. One of the most critical things in any soccer game is that the matches feel both realistic and fun and DLS 25 nails that balance perfectly.

Instead of boring 0-0 snoozefests you usually get high-scoring, fast-paced, and fluid matches. Plus there are tons of different ways to score—you can hit bangers from long range go one-on-one with the keeper string together one-touch passes or head it in from a cross. Personally my favorite way to score in DLS 25 is the quick counter-attack. I’ve noticed that the attacking AI’s off-the-ball runs behind the defensive line are significantly smarter this year making through-balls far more deadly than in DLS 24. If you know you know—I promise you’ll have an amazing time.

Even though it’s not absolutely essential for a good soccer game having official licenses definitely adds a special layer of appeal and DLS 25 is pretty bold in that department too. There are over 4,000 real players in the game complete with their actual photos and you can sign them to your squad. Even if some teams don’t have their official names or logos it doesn’t feel like a major drawback when you consider that the real fun comes from building your own team from scratch and competing against players all over the world.

Whether you’re playing solo against the AI or taking on opponents from around the globe online DLS 2025 delivers a satisfying experience in both scenarios—that’s for sure. In short, if you’re into soccer games and you’re looking for a top-notch experience on your Android device I highly recommend giving this one a shot.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG set in a dark fantasy world inspired by France’s Belle Époque era. At the center of the story is a mysterious figure known as the Paintress. She wakes up every year, paints a number on a monolith and everyone at that age or older dissolves into smoke in an event called the Gommage. This cycle has been going on for years, with the number dropping by one each time. When it becomes clear she’s about to paint 33, a final desperate effort called Expedition 33 is organized on Lumière Island.

The mission: cross to the mainland and stop the Paintress.

Despite being made by a relatively small team of 33 people, the game stands out for its visual quality, music and narrative depth. It scored above 90 on Metacritic and sold over 3.3 million copies.

GAMEPLAY

Unlike classic turn-based systems, Expedition 33 turns combat into something you actually have to be present for. It’s not enough to just issue attack commands when your turn comes. You also need to parry and dodge in real time during enemy attacks. A successful parry negates the damage, earns you Skill Points and opens up a counter-attack window. Timed hits also boost your damage output.

Characters and customization:

• There are six playable characters, each with completely different skill trees.
• The Pictos and Lumina systems let you customize your party in a pretty deep way.
• At camp, you can upgrade weapons, distribute skills and build relationships between characters.

STORY AND CHARACTERS

Right after landing on the mainland, Expedition 33 walks into an ambush. The team is nearly wiped out. The survivors, engineer Gustave, mage Lune, young fighter Maelle and the cheerful Sciel, push forward while being forced to contend with the immortal and ruthless Renoir and his son Verso. Over time, we learn that this world is actually a Canvas created by beings called Painters. The Paintress’s real name is Aline. She lost her son Verso and, in her grief, created this artificial world. Maelle, it turns out, is actually Alicia, the real personality Aline suppressed.

Renoir’s attack right after the expedition reaches the mainland is both a physical and psychological turning point. The team starts wrestling with existential questions that go well beyond a simple elimination mission.
In the final battle, the player makes a choice between Alicia and Verso. Depending on that choice, there are two different endings: one where the Canvas is preserved and the people of Lumière are revived but Alicia regresses and one where the Canvas is completely destroyed and Alicia returns to the real world.

Lead character Gustave sets out knowing he has only a year left to live. His former lover Sophie was lost in the previous Gommage. The hopeful front he puts on is really a mask he wears to keep the team’s morale up. This theme of sacrifice becomes pretty explicit as the game goes on.

• Main story: 40 to 50 hours
• All side quests, optional bosses, collectibles: 70 to 80 hours
• New Game+ mode adds enhanced enemies and unlockable content for better replayability.
• Chapter structure: The game is broadly divided into four main sections:
• Prologue and First Exploration: Starting on Lumière Island, crossing to the mainland.
• Mid-Continent and the Renoir Conflict: First encounters with Renoir, character development.
• The Monolith and the Final Duel: The search for the Paintress’s heart, the confrontation with Aline.

Renoir:

• Mastering the parry mechanic is essential. Successful parries break Renoir’s toughness bar and create a temporary vulnerability window.
• Verso’s Perfection Rank ability, which multiplies damage through consecutive hits, or Lune stacking Stain to set up powerful spells, both work well here.
• In the Old Lumière fight, use the weapon made from Axon hearts to break the barrier and don’t miss the QTEs.

Mime:

• Parry timing is critical. Study the attack animations carefully.
• Unleash Gradient Attacks during the Fracture phase.
• Use accumulated advantages like Sciel’s Foresight cards during heavy attack phases.
• Character-specific mechanics like Maelle’s stance switching or Monoco’s transformation ability can make things a lot easier.

SYSTEMS AND CORE MECHANICS

Weapon upgrades:

• Collect resources called Chroma Catalysts scattered throughout the world.

You might be hearing about this for the first time so let me give you a quick rundown. Open archive.org and type Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate into the search box. Some websites will show up in the results. You’ll need to click on the first result, which is Microsoft’s own webpage, to get to the right page. Since that page has been taken down, you might see a redirect.
